Metaplanet是一家在东京上市的加密货币投资和咨询公司，于今年5月正式采用比特币作为「战略储备资产」，以从中寻求避险，希望能借此对冲日本财政债台高筑、导致日元狂贬的严峻形势。
Metaplanet, a Tokyo-listed investment and consulting firm, , officially introduced Bitcoin as a “strategic reserve asset” in May of this year, in the hope of seeking refuge from the grave situation of overstretching Japan's fiscal debt, which has led to a ravaging of the yen.
Metaplanet当时指出，公司的目标是效仿MicroStrategy的策略，利用「全部」资本市场工具来增加比特币储备，并且打算长期持有比特币。
Metaplane stated at the time that the company's goal was to use “all” capital market instruments to increase the Bitcoin reserve, following MicroStrategy's strategy, and intended to hold Bitcoin for a long time.
根据Bitcointreasuries.net的数据，Metaplanet目前持有141.07枚比特币，持币价值约960万美元；而MicroStrategy则累计持有214,400枚比特币，持币价值超过145亿美元。
According to Bitcointreasuries.net, Metaplanet currently holds 141.07 bitcoins with a currency value of approximately $9.6 million, while MicroStrategy accumulates 214,400 bitcoins with a currency value of over $14.5 billion.
