所谓“元”是指一个事物的本质属性，而“宇宙”则是人类所认识到的世界的一个抽象概念。“元宇宙”就是指在“宇宙”(包括整个自然和社会)这个大的空间中，每一个事物都包含着它的基本属性和内在规律。比如,“机械手臂”、“视觉系统”、 “控制系统”,这些都属于机器人的基本组成部件或组成部分。

The term “metrocosmos” refers to the fact that, in the larger space of the “cosmos” (including nature and society as a whole), everything contains its basic attributes and intrinsic patterns.
