A widely accepted definition was given by the Director-General of the Internet Block Chain Enterprise, Fae Yong: Web3.0 is a next-generation distributed Internet form centred on technology such as block chains, re-engineering existing production relationships through technical means such as digital identity, smart contracts, and handing over ownership and control of data to producers and users.
Web3.0当下拥有多种定义和元素，其中包括区块链、元宇宙、VR/AR等，根据维基百科定义，Web3.0是结合了去中心化和代币（Token）经济学等概念，基于区块链技术的全新的互联网迭代方向。Web3.0一词由以太坊（Ethereum）联合创始人Gavin Wood创造于2014年，而随着区块链、数字资产（NFT）等行业发展进展，Web3.0也自此受到了广泛关注。

在早期的时候去辨别到底什么是Web3.0的意义不大。我们说Web3.0只是一个名字，哪些是伪需求，哪些真需求，可以通过未来市场化的机制去验证，优胜劣汰就有答案了，创新需要通过群智推动的涌现，而不是专家的预测。
It doesn't make much sense to identify what is Web3.0 at an early stage. We say Web3.0 is just a name, what is a false demand, what is a real need that can be tested through future market-based mechanisms, and there are answers to the odds, and innovation needs to emerge through a pool of intelligence rather than expert predictions.
从总体来看，现在产业里出现了一些尝试，在基础设施层，是分布式基础设施方面的一些尝试，在服务层，分布式的应用、资产交换、权益分配这些相应的项目也有出现。

这个定义或者结论是因为出现了很多成功的应用和技术之后，大家觉得是对上一代技术的完整颠覆，那么我们就可以清晰的定义产业或者是相应的名字。
This definition, or the conclusion, is that, after many successful applications and technologies have emerged, it is thought to be a complete subversion of the technology of the previous generation, so that we can clearly define the industry or the corresponding name.
至于Web3.0，其实是大家的一个憧憬，是希望改变Web2.0的问题，那么刚刚提到从基础到服务到应用领域的一些尝试，我们觉得它是在Web3.0里面的一个突破。
