据外媒2月25日报道，全球最大的比特币交易平台Mt.Gox的网站已经关闭。有市场传言称该网站由于系统漏洞损失大量比特币无法弥补客户损失，已经申请破产保护。而据《华尔街日报》稍早前的报道，比特币交易所Mt.Gox的CEO马克·卡普莱斯（Mark Karpeles）已经在博客中宣布退出比特币基金会。目前Mt.Gox网站已经处于空白状态，分析称该网站可能已经下线。
According to foreign media reports on 25 February, the website of the world’s largest Bitcoin trading platform, Mt. Gox, has been closed. Market rumours say that the site could not make up for customers’ losses because of the system’s leaks, and has applied for bankruptcy protection.
Mt.Gox总部位于日本东京，是世界上最大的比特币交易商，最高时曾承担超过全世界80%的比特币交易。据了解，Mt.Gox网站早在去年夏天就出现了一系列技术问题，当时Mt.Gox暂停了客户提取美元。到今年2月初，系统问题变得更加严重，有消息称比特币软件的一个漏洞使部份用户能够更改交易，Mt.Gox不得不在2月7日停止了所有客户取现。受到暂停交易的影响，Mt.Gox平台比特币交易价格上周一度跌至100美元以下。Mt.Gox当时在他们发表的声明中称：“比特币软件中存在一个漏洞，黑客可以利用该漏洞修改交易信息，比如让一个本来已经发生的比特币交易看起来像没发生……这会导致系统重新发送比特币……”
At the beginning of February, Mt. Gox, based in Tokyo, Japan, was the world's largest Bitcoin dealer, with the highest ever carrying more than 80% of the world's Bitcoin transactions. It was understood that Mt. Gox had had a series of technical problems as early as last summer, when Mt. Gox suspended its client's United States dollar withdrawal. By the beginning of February, system problems had become more serious, and it had been reported that a bug in Bitcoin software had enabled some users to change their transactions, and that Mt. Gox had to stop all customers on 7 February.
本周一（24日），比特币企业家、知名博主雷恩·希尔基斯（Ryan Selkis）发布了一份内部文件。文件显示Mt.Gox网站遭到了黑客数次攻击，一共被盗窃了77.4万枚比特币。依照本周一的交易价格，这些比特币的总价值在3.5亿美元左右，但目前Mt.Gox已经无力偿还如此多的比特币，申请破产成了唯一的选择。
This Monday, 24th, a prominent Boeing entrepreneur, Ren & Middot; Ryan Selkis, published an internal document showing that the Mt.Gox website had been hacked several times and that 774,000 bitcoins had been stolen. The total value of these bitcoins was around $350 million, according to the price of the business this week, but Mt.Gox was currently unable to repay so many bitcoins, and the only option was to apply for bankruptcy.

对此消息，国内比特币交易网站“比特币中国”在内的多家交易网站专门就Mt.Gox破产发表了联合声明（全文在文末）。声明称本次事件纯属Mt.Gox“一家公司的丑恶行为造成的”，但是这完全不能反映出比特币以及数字货币行业本身的价值。声明说：“目前有数百家值得信任以及负责任的比特币相关企业。 这些公司将继续会让比特币对于消费者商户而言，变得更加安全和易于使用”，“正如任何新的行业，必然会有一些不好的地方需要被清除，而这正是我们今天所看到的。”
In response, the local Bitcoin trading website & ldquo; Bitcoin China & & rdquo; and a number of trading websites dedicated to Mt. Gox’s bankruptcy (the full text is at the end of the text). The statement stated that the incident was purely an Mt.Gox&ldquao; that one company’s ugly behavior caused & & rdquao; but it did not at all reflect the value of the bitcoin and the digital money industry itself. The statement stated: “ there are currently hundreds of trusted and responsible Bitco-related companies that will continue to make bitcoan safer and easier to use & & & & & & & & & & & dquao for consumer traders; and that, just as any new industry, there are certain bad places that need to be removed, as we see today & & & rdquao;
受此影响，比特币价格出现了较大波动。根据“火币网”的交易价显示，2月25日国内比特币价格出现大跌。至截稿时价格跌至3235元/比特币，跌幅超过 10%，创下2个月来的新低。
As a result, bitcoin prices fluctuated considerably. According to “ the gunnet & rdquao; the transaction prices showed a sharp fall in domestic bitcoin prices on 25 February. At the time of writing, prices fell to $3235/bitcoin, a drop of more than 10 per cent, making it a new low in the next two months.
