大家新年好！今天我们聊聊以太坊的十大应用。大家进入以太坊的官网首页（https://ethereum.org/）可以看到官方对以太坊的定位：

那么目前主要有哪些以太坊应用，它们各自处于什么样的阶段，并且对未来会有怎样的影响？
What are the main current Etherm applications, at what stage are they at and what are their implications for the future?
笔者根据自己的知识和眼光，从目前流行的以太坊项目中选取出十个应用（或项目、公司），将它们进行排名，呈现给大家。
Based on my knowledge and vision, I have selected 10 applications (or projects, companies) from the current popular Etherm project, ranking them and presenting them to everyone.
第十名：MetaMask（让你的浏览器支持以太坊）
tenth place: MetaMask (Let your browser support Ether)
MetaMask（https://metamask.io/）让你的浏览器也支持以太坊。它通过浏览器扩展（目前支持chrome扩展，后续计划支持更多浏览器），使你的浏览器成为一个以太坊的客户端（轻客户端），从而让浏览器可以直接运行以太坊的DApp。
MetaMask (https://metamask.io/) allows your browser to support Ether as well. By expanding it (currently supporting chrome expansion, follow-up plans supporting more browsers), it makes your browser a user (light client) in Ether, so that the browser can run directly into Ether's Dapp.
第九名：WeiFund（基于以太坊的众筹平台）
Ninth place: WeiFund (based on the Etherworld platform)
WeiFund（http://weifund.io/）是一个基于以太坊的众筹平台。它提供了多个基于以太坊平台众筹的智能合约模板。你可以利用这些模板实现你自己的项目众筹智能合约。
WeiFund (http://weifund.io/) is a crowd-sourcing platform based on the eBay. It provides several smart contract templates based on the eBay platform. You can use these templates to achieve your own project crowd-sourcing.
第八名：Whisper（以太坊的低语者）
eighth place:
Whisper（低语者）是以太坊的一个功能扩展。它是以太坊生态中的一个重要一环（以太坊的智能合约smart contract实现了分布式逻辑，以太坊的Swarm实现了分布式存储，以太坊的Whisper实现了分布式消息）。
Whisper is an extension of the community's function. It is an important part of the community's ecology (a distributional logic is achieved by the community's smart contract, a distribution store is made by the community's Swarm, and a distribution message is made by the community's Whisper).
Whisper将实现智能合约间的消息互通，届时可以实现功能更加复杂的DApp。Whisper当前还处于概念阶段。相关信息详见：https://github.com/ethereum/wiki/wiki/Whisper。
Whisper will be able to create a more sophisticated Dapp between smart contracts. Whisper is still at the conceptual stage. More information can be found at https://github.com/etherium/wiki/wiki/Whisper.
第七名：DigixDAO（Digix的自治组织）
seventh place: DigixDAO (Digix's Autonomous Organization )
一家名叫Digix位于新加坡的公司（https://www.dgx.io/），基于以太坊发布了用于代表伦敦金银市场协会（LBMA）认证的黄金代币（GDX）。通过转移这些代币便实现了黄金交易所的功能。
A company called Digix in Singapore (https://www.dgx.io/), based on the release by Etheria of gold tokens (GDX) to be certified on behalf of the London Gold and Silver Markets Association (LBMA).
与此同时，Digix发布了另一个代币：DigixDAO（DGD），称为Digix的自治组织。参与DGD众筹的用户可以享受GDX的交易手续费分成。该代币目前在云币网有售。
At the same time, Digix has published another token: DigixDAO (DGD), a self-governing organization called Digix.
笔者将DGD列为以太坊十大应用的第七位，是因为该应用可以给大家提供一个广阔的思路，大家可以通过研究该应用认识到以太坊在数字资产方面的应用本质。从长远来看，DGX模式将是取代现有资产交易所（如黄金交易所）的一种必然模式（注：笔者只是说DGX模式，而不是一定指Digix这家公司）。
In the long run, the DGX model will be a necessary model to replace existing asset exchanges (such as the gold exchange) (note: I speak only of the DGX model, not necessarily of Digix).
第六名：FirstBlood(1st)（一血游戏代币）
Sixth place: FirstBlood (1st) (a blood game token )
1st是通过以太坊平台发布的用于游戏的代币。目前游戏开发商已经越来越重视以太坊在其游戏代币中的应用。将玩游戏过程中的各个环节和游戏代币紧密联系起来（游戏的接入、奖励、道具的买卖等等），并通过虚拟代币的形式发行。
1st is a token for the game that is published on the Taiwan platform. Game developers are now increasingly interested in the application of the community in their game tokens. Linking the various components of the game with the game tokens (access to the game, reward, sale of props, etc.) is distributed in virtual tokens.
购买游戏代币的用户可以在相应平台自由转让和买卖代币，这样的代币会根据游戏玩家的多少具有不同的价格浮动。同时也会存在一些大的玩家囤积代币炒高币价的行为。大家可以持续关注。
Users of games tokens can freely transfer and sell tokens on the appropriate platform, which floats at different prices depending on the number of players in the game. There are also large players hoarding coins at higher prices.
第五名：GNOSIS（基于以太坊的预测平台）
Fifth: GNOSIS (based on the Ethermy predictive platform)
GNOSIS（https://gnosis.pm/）是一个基于以太坊的市场预测平台。比如通过它你可以实现诸如对某个艺术品拍卖前的价格预估调查。该平台也可以实现其它，如某场足球比赛打赌（赌球）等功能。
The GNOSIS (https://gnosis.pm/) is a market forecasting platform based on the Etherm. Through it, for example, you can achieve price estimates such as before an art auction.
第四名：ConsenSys（以太坊的开发工具）
fourth: ConsenSys (Etheria Development Tool)
准确地说，ConsenSys（https://consensys.net/）是一个围绕以太坊开发众多工具和Dapp的公司，其中大名鼎鼎的Truffle就是其产品之一。
To be precise, ConsenSys (https://consensys.net/) is a company that develops numerous tools and Dapps around Etheria, one of its products is the well-known Truffle.
这里将它列为十大应用之四就是想彰显其在以太坊生态中的贡献和地位。
It is listed here as the fourth of the 10 largest applications in order to highlight its contribution and position in the Etherm ecology.
第三名：Oraclize（以太坊的预言机）
Oraclize（http://www.oraclize.it/）是以太坊预言机（Oracle，详见《谈谈区块链14：以太坊的预言机》）的一个实现。它是智能合约和外部世界的桥梁（访问URL、其它区块链，如比特币网络的信息等）。
Oraclize (http://www.oraclize.it/) is a realization of the Taiyo Prophecies (Oracle, for more details, Talk about Block Chain 14: The Ether's Prophecies). It is an intelligent contract and a bridge to the outside world (access to URLs, other block chains, such as Bitcoin information, etc.).
笔者将其列为十大以太坊应用之三是为了强调预言机（Oracle）在智能合约设计中的作用。
I have listed it as the Ten-Etheria application ter to emphasize the role of Oracle in the design of an intelligent contract.
第二名：BTCRelay（以太坊和比特币之间的桥梁）
BTCRelay（http://btcrelay.org/）通过将比特币blockchain的头部不断写入其智能合约存储，以实现以太坊其它智能合约对比特币网络信息的获取，如：
BTCRelay (http://btcrelay.org/) achieves access to bitcoin web-based information by keeping the head of bitcoin blockchain in its intellectual contract storage, e.g.:
某个比特币交易是否已经进块某个比特币交易的深度
Whether a bitcoin transaction has reached the depth of a bitcoin transaction.
BTCRelay本身以智能合约的形式存在，因其内部存储了另一个blockchain（比特币的blockchain头部），因此也称为以太坊的一条侧链。
BTCRelay itself exists in the form of an intelligent contract, as it contains another blockchain (blockchain head in Bitcoin) within itself and is therefore also known as a side chain in the Tails.
笔者将其列为十大应用之二，是因为它是跨链技术的一个典型，且最为简单的代表，希望大家通过学习它能对跨链技术有所了解。
I classified it as a ten-fold application bis because it is a typical and simple representative of cross-chain technology, and it is hoped that by learning it will provide an understanding of cross-chain technology.
第一名：Swarm（以太坊的群蜂）
First place: Swarm
Swarm（群蜂，http://swarm-gateways.net/）是以太坊的一个功能扩展。严格说，它和Whisper类似，不能算是一个应用。Swarm使得以太坊支持分布式文件存储（类似于IPFS）。它是以太坊生态中的重要一环，它使得以太坊不但是个DApp的平台，还是个分布式文件存储平台，它将文件存放在以太坊客户端宿主机器的存储空间里，并且奖励给客户端相应的费用（以太币）。
Swarm (http://swarm-gateways.net/) is a functional extension of the Taiku. Strictly speaking, it is not an application similar to Whisper. Swarmo allows Ether to support distributed file storage (like IPFS). It is an important link in the Taiyu ecology, making Ether not only a Dapp platform but also a distributed document storage platform, which stores documents in the storage space of the user-end host machine and rewards the corresponding cost to the client (in taka currency).
目前Swarm的功能代码处于PoC（概念验证）阶段，笔者将其列为十大应用之首是因为笔者非常喜欢它，它让以太坊系统变得异常强大和实用。从长远来说，Swarm是否能得到广泛应用，以及它和IPFS（ipfs.io）相比谁更优秀，值得大家长期关注。
Swarm’s functional code is currently in the PoC (concept validation) stage, and I put it at the top of the 10 largest applications because I like it very much, and it makes the Etherm system extremely powerful and practical. In the long run, whether Swarm can be used widely, and who is better than the IPFS (ipfs.io) deserves long-term attention.

评选十大应用应用时，有一个已经失败的应用不得不提，它就是以太坊的”The DAO“。The DAO作为迄今为止以太坊最著名的应用，筹集了历史上最大一笔金额（约合1亿美元），一度被所有以太坊用户寄予厚望，却因程序漏洞和黑客攻击惨遭失败，并导致以太坊发展史上最重大的事件：硬分叉出一条新链（目前的ETH链）。
When selecting the ten applications, one of the failed applications had to be mentioned: The DAO, the most famous application to date, the DAO raised the largest amount in history (about $100 million) by all of its users, but at one point failed because of procedural flaws and hacker attacks, and led to the most significant event in the history of the development of the etai: the hard break-up of a new chain (the current ETH chain).
这就好比评选十大进球时，你无法将马拉多纳的上帝之手入选，但却无法掩盖其在足球史上地位和传奇色彩。
This is like the ten grand goal, when you couldn't choose the hand of God in Maladona, but you couldn't hide its place in football history and legend.
