The Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ms. Mae Hong, stated that, in order to identify the foundations, problems and technical difficulties of the block chain and to give a clear and precise presentation, the Academy Department of Science set up the theme of the “block chain” more than a year ago and set up an inter-school forum. However, the meeting took place at a time when the discussion of the new block chain was unexpectedly hot.
12月7-8日,“区块链技术与应用”科学与技术前沿论坛在深圳召开。本次大会集齐五位中国科学院院士,以及多位专家学者、金融机构技术负责人,就区块链的技术理论、发展现状和金融领域的落地应用等多个方面展开主题演讲。
On 7-8 December, the Science and Technology Front Forum “Technology and Applications in Block Chains” was held in Shenzhen. The conference brought together five members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as a number of expert scholars and technical leaders of financial institutions, to make presentations on various aspects of the technical theory of block chains, the current state of development and the local application of financial fields.
其中,中国科学院院士、软件开发环境国家重点实验室主任郑志明以“区块链技术与发展”为题进行了7日当天闭幕报告的演讲。郑志明在报告中指出,目前区块链的困境在于“三元悖论”,即可扩展性、分布式和安全性三者不可兼得,最多得其二;下一代区块链技术的核心是三元平衡寻优问题。另外,共识成本和监管安全也成为了阻碍区块链有效发展的两大难点。
Of these, Zheng Zhi Minh, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the national priority laboratory for software development environment, gave a presentation on the topic “Technology and development of the block chain” on the same day. In his report, Zheng Zhi Minh noted that the current dilemma of the block chain lies in the “triple paradox” in which expansion, distribution, and security are impossible to achieve at best two; and that the core of the next generation’s block chain technology is the triad balance.
