以太坊（Ethereum）作为区块链领域的创新之一，自其2015年公开发行以来，一直备受瞩目。那么，以太坊是如何兴起的呢？
Etheeum, as one of the innovations in the area of block chains, has been high-profile since its release in 2015. So, how did the Ethena emerge?
早在比特币还没有成为大家眼中的数字货币时代，以太坊的前身曾经是一个名为“Mastercoin”的项目，其致力于创造一种完全自主的智能合约平台。但是，这个项目目的不是将最新的革命性技术带给大众，其采用了相对保守的方法，即将新的智能合约方式嵌入比特币自身，以达到既能够保护使用者隐私又能追求开放性与可扩展性的目标。
As long ago as Bitcoin had not become the digital money age for all, the Taiku’s predecessor was a project called “Mastercoin,” which sought to create a fully autonomous platform for intellectual contracts. But, instead of bringing the latest revolutionary technology to the public, the project adopted a relatively conservative approach to embedding new smart contracts in Bitcoin itself in order to achieve the goals of both protecting user privacy and pursuing openness and scalability.
后来，由比特币国际集团(Bitcoin Magazine)的创始人Vitalik Buterin所创办的以太坊研发公司，于2014年第四季度开始对以太坊进行了开发，之后的2015年7月30日，以太坊正式发布。
Later, the development of Ether began in the fourth quarter of 2014, by Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Bitcoin Magazine, followed by its official launch on 30 July 2015.
How is the Etherm widely recognized ?
以太坊的智能合约与Dapp开发是区别于其它数字货币的关键特性。这些开发为企业和开发人员提供了一个快速开发和部署应用程序、通过智能合约构建身份验证、可编程交易、Token发行，以及自主去中心化应用程序（Dapp）的平台。因此，以太坊迅速拥有了广泛的用户基础，来自不同行业、不同背景，包括投资者、金融科技公司、开发人员等，这些用户贡献了严谨的理论思考以及实践性的项目落地。
These developments provide firms and developers with a platform for rapid development and deployment of applications, creation of identification, programming transactions through smart contracts, Token releases, and autonomous decentralised applications. 不仅如此，以太坊资助了各式各样的开源社区，也建立了“以太坊社区基金会”(Ethereum Foundation)，为开发和升级进行筹资和策略性管理，最终促进了以太坊的发展。
Moreover, it has financed a wide range of open-source communities and established the Etherium Foundation to fund and strategically manage development and upgrading, ultimately contributing to the development of Ether.
以太坊在诞生之初，ICO火热，导致其价格一路上涨，在2017年12月份达到了史上的最高点，2144.88美元，相比起2015年的ICO售价0.31美元已经涨了690968%。
At the beginning of its existence, the ITO was hot, causing prices to rise all the way, reaching an all-time high of $2144.88 in December 2017, an increase of 690,968 per cent over the 2015 ICO sale price of $0.31.
然而，在ICO泡沫破灭后，以太坊价格也出现了暴跌，之后持续下落，2018年6月份价格跌到了2017年最高价的1/10，即200美元左右。
